Our “Why”

We built Sanrin Invest because we are serial entrepreneurs with decades of combined experience and entrepreneurial ventures under our belt.  In other words, it’s in our DNA. Following a business cycle evolution and equity event, we were blessed with the need and opportunity to engage in our  “next phase” company.

Real estate was the natural choice for us since we knew we could excel by combining each of our unique backgrounds and enthusiasm for building, developing, and serving our community.

Renae Bechthold

Renae, is currently CEO of Assurance Professionals Corp, dba Metro Business Coaching a business development and consultancy firm for healthcare professionals that she launched in 2005. She directs the day to day operations including driving business development and growth.  

Additionally, she advises various business owners on the growth and development of their companies generating growth results between 50% to 300% per annum.

Renae has 34 years of experience developing and operating profitable businesses. Her previous endeavors included 20 years as COO, then CEO and co-founder of Design2FAB Software (formerly ORCA Systems Inc.) a CAD software company which she successfully negotiated and sold in 2004.

Prior to her partnership with Jim O’Connell and the launch of Sanin, LLC, Renae successfully and profitably invested in California real estate between 1988 and 2017, purchasing, developing, rehabbing, holding, selling and managing rentals for six properties.  As an active Principle of Sanrin LLC, Renae focuses on operations, managing rehabs and handling property management operations including leases and tenants

Garrick O’Connell, Arizona Real Estate Agent.

Garrick O’Connell joined Sanrin Invest to manage its portfolio of properties and be the boots on the ground for acquiring and repositioning properties new to our portfolio.

Garrick gained his passion for real estate through construction and architecture. In 2012 he joined a San Diego based Architecture and Construction consulting firm as a real estate project manager. 

In the challenging California marketplace he honed his skills working with elite Property Management Firms, Real Estate Entrepreneurs, and Franchise Corporations that own large portfolios of properties throughout the West.

Garrick has participated in everything from acquisitions, remodeling rental properties, manufactured home development, improved property sales, and renovation of long-term property holdings. He is a licensed Real Estate Agent in Arizona, and in 2020 starting giving back to the industry as the Income Property Subgroup Leader for the Arizona Real Estate Investors Association.

Jim O’Connell, CPL, AAI

Jim O’Connell, is an insurance professional, entrepreneur, and innovator. Most recently Jim launched SMGA to provide a platform for startup insurance programs.

With over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, Jim has owned his own agency and managed large brokerage operations, programs, and profit centers.  His experience included tenure as an agency Principal and Director of the Programs division for the San Diego-based Barney & Barney.

Jim holds an Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) designation along with multiple broker licenses, including Surplus Lines in most states. He served for multiple years as an Advisory Board member of the Target Markets Program Administrators Association, holding TMPAA’s Certified Program Leader designation.
